Talk about the recent political events, Dean's eccentric speech, the Democratic elections, the Patriot Act (which lets the FBI access our records without permission and our notice- a violation of privacy!), Bush's state of the union speech, who you're voting for, etc. I'm not sure if people keep up with these things, but Dim the Lights needs some more action.
I think that Bush's state of the union did address some important issues, but since it's election year he sugar coated everything and made it seem as if all these good things that are happening are because of him. He seems to think that abstinence and steroids are more important then the rising cost of tuition, or the loss of jobs to foreign markets. But Bush did want to allow immigrants in to take jobs as long as it was by their will and the companies weren't forcing them. Walmart would gladly take in these people that don't know any better.
His advocation of the sanctity of marraige really gets me. He claims that the courts granting special liscences to gay couples infringes upon other peoples rights and that the people should be heard, etc. This is really more of a topic for another thread but I don't see how a couple getting married "infringes" upon anybody's rights when people get drunk and get married then when they realize what they did, get a divorce. Those people (*cough* Spears) embarass the "sanctity of marraige", not two same sex couples getting married.
I'd like to see Dean or possibly Carry as the Democratic candidate. Dean was a tad...scary but at least he's passionate and trying to rally his supporters, unlike these other "dead" people.

I say fuck everything and make me President. Then this country would kick ass. All weapons would be destroyed, all pollution would end, hunger and greed would cease to exist, all would be equal, and the world would cascade into an endless period of dreamlike Utopia. THat's what I'm talkin' about. I hope Bush gets a giant rubber dick shoved right up his tight Republican asshole.

first off, beelzebub, when it comes to politics, you are a retard. secondly, concerning Dean, he doesnt have as much experience in politics as Liberman or kerry, and he continues to lose popularity as people come to realize this. Finally, I support Bush again in 2004. He did some great things during a very difficult term, and I believe that even though it wasnt a popular decision, going to war was a nessecity, and over all a good decision.

he has done some good things, but he's also done some pretty bad things too...i.e. destroying the enviroment
eric u really piss me off like that...u have absolutely no reason to not like michael moore. just because you and him don't agree and he makes fun of your beloved Bush. give me one good reason why he's a bad man...and while your at, go see bowling for columbine...its a good movie

this is why i dont support dean,
this is from his website..
"I will unflinchingly defend a woman’s right to choose against those who would take away this right.
I will work to expand equal rights to same-sex couples and ban workplace discrimination based on sexual orientation, strengthen federal protections against anti-gay violence, give federal employees the right to name same-sex partners as beneficiaries ... "

Whats wrong with baning workplace discrimination and anit-gay violence...or do you want to see someone get beat up and possibly killed because they're gay? and you have no proof to say he's a hippie...u just say that because he doesn't support bush? get yourself a real defence and we'll talk...

this is why i dont support clark!
this is from his website too... "I’m pro-choice. The government has no business coming between a woman, her family, and her doctor in making such a personal, private decision. Every woman deserves complete information and access to birth control so that families can be planned and so that every child is a wanted child. I will oppose measures that interfere with the ability of woman and her doctors to make choices about her reproductive health.
It is in the best interest of our country to promote stable communities and families – this includes both heterosexual and same-sex families."

so brief are you homophobic or something because everything you don't like about a canadate seems to be connected to their "let gays be gay" policies. hmm, not cool
