Yeah, Mario Kart DD got like a 9.5/10.
And Nintendo is making the mistake of focusing on connectivity rather than internet play. Just who the hell is going to get a gamecube, 4 GBAs, and 4 connector cables to play a little minigame when they can just as easily play 4-player games without spending $300.
Plus with connectivity, it's still only 4 people when online there are thousands.
But at least Nintendo has a sense of purpose. They're the only first party company out there that's purely games, not an electronics giant like Sony or Microsoft. You know they just want to increase their profits. It's just too bad they're resisting the changes of the times, unlike Microsoft who's just a complete profits whore and puts out nothing but shooters and sports games.

to be honest, i think X box has the most potential making it the best... and ps2 has tons of games but less potential, it woulda been better without ps (which was sweet in its time) and gamecube just plane out sucks!!!!!!!!!!!  no arguing against it I LOVE X-BOX MOST ;D  |

I agree that the Xbox has the most potential, especially with Xbox Live.

True,but potential means nothing.I mean,a system could have all the right things and good specs,but the games could all suck.

come on, X-box kicks, it has potential because of its games, and it has good games, the matrix game (i dislike the movie/ but like the game), dead to rights, ghost reacon, same sports games as everything else, swat (not like the movie) and many more games supporting it as being a better system that ps2 or gamecube. all game cube has, and correct me if i'm wrong, but... metroid, and zelda....

what about ps2, it has a ton of more games than x-box; more variety in their games too. and ghost recon and enter the matrix are for ps2 also. and why do u think ps2 would be better with the original?

Gen, you are wrong. go do your homework (then surf the web looking for GCN games.
More and more, it seems to me, 3rd party games are being produced for all three systems... Hulk, LOTR, Matrix(I'm pretty sure) SCII, etc... So i think it boils down to this:
X-Bow - created by money-whore Gates and his evil legions
PS2 - on-the-side bonus to Sony's HDTVs and DVD players.
GCN - the absolute sole focus of Nintendo (only exception = GBA).
the GCN gets all the attention, so its games are super-high quality. Among the best, IMO, are Metroid, Zelda, SSBM, double dash looks good, the list goes on and on. Also, word on the street is that Nintendo is so going to produce a new next-gen console before sony or microsoft. Hopefully, they'll wise up and figure out someway of making the new system backward-compatible. Unlike the GBA, where they have to constantly create new game cartridge shapes, nintendo could put a specialized barrier on the new games so it won't play on the GCN. there ya go, hope yer happy. I just think a lot of time was wasted on the ps2 and x-box in order to give it such abilities as DVD-players, internet connections, etc. Leave those on computers and TV screens, stop trying to fuse ideas and waste valuable time and money. Make excellent games and nothing but excellent games.
sorry for that kinda rant, Genuine, but you seem so ignorant to the actuality of everything (especially the GCN's game number) that i had to re-sensitize you. here's an asprin.

Actually, Enter the Matrix got really bad reviews, and games like dead to rights and ghost recon are okay, but nothing to buy an entire system over. Really, X-Box would be totally dead if they didn't have Halo and KOTOR, and a couple other really good games. Otherwise it's just sports and shooting stuff. They're just trying to appeal to violence and sports junkies, who make up a depressingly large portion of the gaming community, to make more money. Bastards. Can't wait for Halo 2 though. Damn, see my point?
Let's see, I have like 20 odd games for PS2, like 8 for GCN, and only 3 or 4 games for X-Box.

the matrix game (i dislike the movie/ but like the game Wow someone admitted to liking that,that is a first. And I have 20 odd games for PS2,about 15 for GCN and about 10 for Xbox. |
