I suppose they all have their highlights, but aside fomr games, which has more? XBox does.
Hard drive (built in). Best graphics when the capibilites are actually pushed. Can hold cd's, which kind of goes ith the hard drive. Good games across the board, now atleast.
It didn't at first because it was entirely new and didn't have old past titles that had become popular over time.
ONe advantage over the PS2, though a small one, is that it has 4 CONTROLER CAPABILITY. For the PS2 you need to buy some 4 connector crap. Also the online is all broadband so no lag.
One disadvantage is that the dvd capability must be purchased separately, but the DVD on the ps2 sucks anyway.

But let's see...
XBox has only a few great exclusive games (don't even begin to say Halo or KOTOR, since both are being released for the PC), among these being Panzer Dragoon and possibly Ninja Gaiden when its released.
Saying that anyone online is without lag is always gonna be a blatant lie, so don't ever say that (the connection can be good, but even when two computers are linked directly, there is still lag).
PS2, while not having four controllers, can have the network adapter, so you can get alot of people playing the same game (potentially)
And the comment about "good games across the board" is also another utter lie. Try playing Kabuki Warriors

i dind't mean that every game was good, lol. every system has their crappy games. But in every genre, xbox has at least A good title. PS2 has the largest library of games but thats because it has been out longer.
Anyways, XBOX is a more powerful system that the others, meaning it has more of those capabilities such as broadband, and LAN already built in, and it has much better graphics and more memory than others.

ok...simple...game cube is cheapest and a debateable bargin for its value...ps2 has best games now...and has had...on an overall scale...x-box has best system...but the system doesnt matter with crap games...or at $500...but the overall award is my opinonated choice of PS2 as a loyality due to its original system and its success...and the fact it has its own skatepark in london...

Gamecube has the best line-up coming out, PS2 has the best set of games right now (but not much is coming out), and XBox has a bunch of mediocre games they stole from PC.

so xbox is now $500 dollars? didn't think it would go UP in price...but if you say so.
And XBOX does have some great games coming out, just not many that have a legacy. Its had some original ideas for platformers and FPS and amazing RPG'S (Fable is one good example). Even the companies making these xbox games have made games for PC, PS2, and gamecube. And the reason for so many pc-like games is because xbox is microsoft...

And XBOX is finally getting Grand Theft Auto 3 and Vice City...but in the same game! I admit its a little late now, those games are still great fun but the excitement about them has died down a good deal. But for those who haven't owned them before will be able to get both at the same time, with upgrades and extras unique to the xbox version.

What is this about rpgs? Fable is the first actually promising rpg on the X-box. In fact, I think it's the only one. That, or the other ones on it just sucked too bad for me to remember them.

I heard from a friend that Morrowind simply became too repetative, and since I won't make a judgement of it myself yet, I'll just support his idea since we like the same types of games. And only PS2 has real solid RPGs on it that are exclusive. And when I said steal PC games, I meant that XBox bought off the game from the company and had it released for XBox either first or exclusively. That's why Nintendo is nice...it's one of the few companies that hasn't sold its soul to the corporate dollar

nintendo has its great games.....classics indeed. XBox is very recent, since its microsoft, of course it will have PC titles or ones that resemble PC titles. But it also has very original games (Halo, need i say more) and there are a lot of htem coming out this winter and early 2004.

Halo was originally slated as a PC game, so I don't consider it to really be an XBox game as much as a PC game So the fact that it was ORIGINALLY going to be a PC game, but the fact that it ended up not being a PC game until now makes it more of a PC game? That doesn't make any sense, but what do i know hahaha? Im not too critical of games. The system itself has to be good, and XBOX works for me there, and there have to be good games to buy, and XBOX works for me there just fine. So i would say that XBOX is the best as a system, and is holding its own against the larger systems like PS2 and the traditional companies like Nintendo. |
