more of Sadams men die than of our men. War's are f00ked up. It's like a sporting event, whoever loses fewer people wins... It's all statistics. When I read the number of people who died in such and such a war, it's presented in the same way Ben Wallace's points and rebounds per game would be...

I would never fight in a war so I would do whatever I could to not go. And if there are WMD where are they,or the evidence?I'd like to know... First off, their are many ways to serve ur country besides combat roles. im not sure how it works, but im sure u could get urself transferred to noncombat role so u wouldnt have to fight. also, joining the coastguard gives u a way to protect ur country, and avoid actually fighting in the war. as for the weapons of mass destruction, ive said this a couple of times before but im not if anyone has seen it: sadaam has had WMD and has used WMD, HE USED THEM ON HIS OWN PEOPLE! sadaam used these weapons on the kurds in northern iraq. its the equivalent of if our gov't used them against blacks or hispanics.

as for bush in the economy. u cant blame him for the recession, many many factors brought it about. but thanks to policy moves by bush, the economy is finally back on track. some of these factors that brought the recession about were: 1. the .com boom (which is a large reason why the economy was so good for clinton) collapsed, causing a loss of jobs and a drop in the stock market. 2) business scandals (ie Enron) greatly reduced consumer confidence and the stock market and economy in general dropped even farther.

War's are f00ked up. It's like a sporting event, whoever loses fewer people wins... It's all statistics. When I read the number of people who died in such and such a war, it's presented in the same way Ben Wallace's points and rebounds per game would be... War's are terrible. But they are sometimes necessary to prevent entire nations being oppressed by murderous regimes. More people would die if we did not take out Sadaam, then are dying now. It would have happened over an extended period of time, but more would have died. His son may have succeeded him and carried out the destruction further. We go and kill Iraqi soldiers that serve Sadam's regime. Yes innocent people are killed, but it is war, and tension is high, and people make mistakes. Anybody who says we intentionally kill innocent people is full of crap. Innocent people were also killed by terrorists here in the U.S., and there is convincing evidence (enough to go to war over, whether one disagrees or not) that Sadam condoned those terrorist acts. So yes war is bad because people are killed. But not everything can be good, and bad things must sometimes happen to bring about a better good. This better good will be brought about by the U.S. and those countries that support it in Iraq, but its a hard fight, and so it will take a long time and lots of people will be killed.

Ok...There has been NO proof of WMD.Bush and his buddies made the whole thing up.If you think there were WMD,I would like to see a source on that... And if there was a draft I would try to plea my case that I don't beleive in war,and if not then I would dodge it.I wouldn't fight for anything that Bush says, and I sure as hell wouldn't fight for his "war for freedom".End of story. No, if you plea your case you "don't like war or belive in it" they make you an unarmed field medic or a priest. Good luck moving unarmed in the middle of a war, just becasue your don't repect the very ideals that this country was founded on enough to defend them. Good luck if their's ever a draft. And yes, there is proff of WMD's...please see extremly long post two pages ago. Thanks. Saves Breath becasue you Libbies just won't listen! This reminds me of a quote: "you can lead a horse to water, but you can't make it drink!"

Good luck if their's ever a draft. Actually, it's called obtaining a "conscientious objector" status, which will get you out of the draft.

Actually, it's called obtaining a "conscientious objector" status, which will get you out of the draft. Actually jim those are extremly hard to get, and i mean extremly now adays. They will put you as some menial job in the army without a weapon. This is the much more common case.

not that part. NOt many people in war want to kill other people. But some people just wont stand up and fight for their country. They just live happy content lives. One's duty as a citizen should include fighting for the country if need be.

I am not a vegan,I just don't eat meat. And my reason for it is that I think animals have the basic right to life like we do,and that we have no right to kill them. Also whenever I see meat it makes me sick.
But back on topic... I don't think I would abuse the conscientious objecter status,it is just how I feel and I won't compromise what I believe.
