besides spelling, thats great to hear...
i also am a virgin, although that bears little importance...i think you made a good point when you said "i am ashamed...but dont regret it" (the gist of it...)...i think thats great, although seociety and our culture, and the additude of youth in whole, purity, morality, faith, and convictions are all suppressed and very much attacked in our current times...we may feel ashamed from this, which makes sense, many do not support our actions, but that does not make them not worthy and very valid, appropriate, and Godly descisions...i view morals as a whole as Godly, and a mark of God, wether the person has faith or not...the idea of morals i believe supports what is Godly...

I did not say I believe it in,and in fact I don't. I have just heard talk about it.Some religions think that you can gain your virginity back and become a born again virgin. "Some religions" think a lot of things. That really doesn't justify much. Being born-again virgin is just impossible, and sometimes people just make those words up to justify themselves in an arguement about stuff like this. Some people are just morons. (not you scott, none of this actually pertains to you).

I agree. Virginity is the state of being before intercourse, no? Therefore, after intercourse, there ain't much that can be done about it.

And they do it at their own free will, well, most of the time, but you know. Its dumb, they regret it, so why did they do it? Whatever, you can't get virginity back, just forgiveness.

Even if it isn't done with their own free will, they are still not virgins. I cannot see how that can be disputed.

You have sex. then you are not a virgin. end of story. rape etc is still sex, therefore, no more virginity

"Some religions" think a lot of things. That really doesn't justify much. Being born-again virgin is just impossible, and sometimes people just make those words up to justify themselves in an arguement about stuff like this. Some people are just morons. (not you scott, none of this actually pertains to you). The whole born-again-virgin thing is a term that helps people that feel guilty about losing their virginity gain some self respect. When you are pressured into making a choice, you feel guilty and like you let yourself down. By going through counseling and thinking about it, by taking new steps to prevent what happened before, those people like to call themselves born-again-virgins so that they can feel better. If you cannot get your true virginity back, this is the next best thing, and it is symbolic. It is not physical in any way. I guess it can be seen as a promise or a pact that the person will not break, like they let someone break before. I don't see anything wrong with thinking you can become a born-again-virgin. It is a giant step towards self improvement and makes the person feel better about themself.

yeah but making the person feel better about themselves doesnt change what they did previously.....whats done is done, and you cant change that with a label......

well really, it comes down to the bible, i think. in the bible, fornication (sex out of wedlock) is considered a sin, but if that is not considered , i can see why it would happen
