Your viewing communism and marxism and socialism (all basically the same damn thing) in their ideal state. Their ideal state doesn't work, period. It will never exist without one person who has to maintain control, and so he must have absolute power. Then, when that happens, it aint communism is it. You can see it in every communist, marxist, an socialist country; there is a person who is a dictator, and ends up killing people to subdue them, and there are almost always revolutionary ideas because people realize that being in such a state is not what they want. Its oppressive. It holds them down, keeps them on a crappy level. While those in power live in wealth. THAT, is communism.

At the root, marxism and communism and socialism are the same. They are ideals. They oppose capitalism, saying that individual ambition just causes disorder, and that communal economies where everything is shared are what shoud be used. Now they are either political systems, or economic ones, but they all assume a condition that can not exist because it is directly opposed to human nature. Captialism is not disorder, it is the best thing because anyone with amibition can take part and succeed a great deal more than anyone can succeed in a communistic society.
Marxism and communism are not the same in all respects, but at the base they are the same, and thus neither will ever work. Technically they never existed because they are contradiction in and of themselves.
