not all christians are catholic, and therefore not all follow the catechism. many people seem to think either all homosexuals are born that way. or that all r not born that way. heres a new thought though, maybe its a combination. i dont really believe that but its a possiblity, to think about.
i think that gays were not born that way, but maybe if some more scientific evidence comes forth ill think otherwise.

Okay, it's come to my attention that I'm not actually arguing with you people, I'm arguing with the Catholic church.
Wil shire, have you ever asked a gay person if they chose to be gay? I know several gay people, and not a single one of them has said that hadn't been gay from the start. I don't think you can really trust Cristianity for the true answer. Cuz you know, Christians are just steeped in gay people. I bet they wrote the book on how to be gay. Right. Truth is they don't know a gay person from their own scrotums.
And how do you know that seals can't feel hapiness? You ever asked a seal if he or she was happy? Not many people can speak seal tongue, so I'm going to assume that you don't know what you're talking about until you gather some solid testimonies of seals who have told you that they lack anything resembling emotion.

how do you know seals know happiness? I dont believe they do, not happiness in the human sense of the word, because they can not feel human emotions. Yes they can feel some human "feelings" like pain and heat and cold, but not human "emotions". We are unique in that we take these things to the next level.
So say that someone knew before you were going to be born that your life would turn out crappy, and you would do more harm than good. That person also knew that a seal would live a "nice life", but they can't live like a human, but they can still live and reproduce and die from natural causes and not suffer from physical ailements. Now say that person was given a choice to kill you or the seal? Which would he choose? If he had half a brain he'd choose the human because it is HUMAN!
You might as well go join PETA, which equates little boys with rats, seriously.

im not queer but i still dont think that being gay is wrong. i know these gay people down my street and they are the happyest people i ever met so thats probably why they call them gay.
as far as religion the catholic church says that its wrong but screw the church, all they care about is money.

umm...a dont insult the church...rip on the catholic church...but say catholic...cuz theyve screwed up enough its inevitable...also...yes we can trust christianity to be the truth...maybe you cant...and still...homosexuals can be very nice, good, well humans...and great people to know...and they are no worse than I...but homosexuality in itself is still wrong...
further...the nazi party is outlawed in Germany...so no germans are nazi's...otherwise 10 years or so in jail...it is a party in the US...

I believe Seiryuken is referring to something we like to call stereotypical classification. Y'know, all Germans MUST be nazis, all Russians MUST be commies, all Muslims MUST be Al-Quida, etc. All that crap that you can deny, but it's there, like it or not. i think being gay is wrong, unless you are a useful gay that like designs stuff or does gay porn. if you are one of those gay people who lifts weights, then you should be shot in the face by an elephant gun while being forced to watch a naked woman rub oil over her luscious, luscious tits. also, if you are the kind of guy who likes to take it, then you should endure a similar fate, except with aliens.
