lotr deserves it more i think then the others because of the gargantuin size of it. and since the last 2 didn't win....
i do have a feeling though, that the academy will judge lotr by all 3 pictures combined and not just the 3rd which is kinda unfair to the other pictures that were nominated, because they are just one great movie, and lotr is 3

LOTR deserves it. i dont care. seabiscuit was a great movie, but LOTR ROTK was epic. those will be the greatest movies of at least the decade

I have to agree, and I still have yet to see the movie. LOTR has provided quality films with great story, not to mention that the films are said to be very closely related to the books.

They did leave out/change some major parts (I'm not sure if you've read the books), which did disappoint me, but they followed the series closer than most movies based on books. |

well lotr should win best director and picture with little worry (if they do lose, it will be one of the greatest upsets in oscar history) but..............
bill murrary should win best actor for his work in lost in translation
