Family Guy is better I believe. But that's only my opinion and my opinion does not matter. Always on duty. I've done this kind of thing before, under the name Grammararian. However, it quickly becomes extraordinarily tedious. Quit while you're ahead and post something of actual relevance please. |

although the simpsons is an all-time classis, i had to put my vote in for family guy.
the first 3 seasons of family guy completely owned the first 3 seaons of the simpsons.

I gotta go with the Simpsons. Family Guy is great, but the Simpson's writers had/have much more experience than those of Family Guy. Also, the Simpsons has much better voice acting, mainly because almost every voice on Family Guy is done by one person (Seth MacFarlane.) The Simpsons has been on the air for 14 years, and thus has more memorable scenes, episodes, jokes etc. (although Family Guy would have lasted longer if Fox hadn't screwed it over.) Overall, the Simpsons has more wit, satire, and quality than Family Guy.

i give my vote to the family guy. not to take away from the simpsons greatness, but i think that family guy is just more laugh out loud funny, while simpsons humor is more subtle. sort of. go family guy!

Here is how I see it...
The Simpsons is just plain funny,it has every sort of humor in it.Family Guy,on the other hand, is more pop culture humor.Now this is fine,hell I think it is why I like the show so much,but here is the thing: my kids will be able to laugh at the Simpsons, while not at Family Guy, different generation.I am not ragging on FG,I love it, I am just saying that in the future, the next generation or so might not.
Also a lot of people say that the Simpsons has gone down a lot and is not funny, while it has gone down name me a show with over 300 eps. that hasn't.That is what aye thought.

i think frasier has 300. and that show sucked from the beggining. so it has pretty much not gotten any worse.

i have to go with family guy, i can go through basically every family guy episode and laugh through the whole thing. not so with the simpsons. the simpsons is still great, but i just cant laugh as much with simpsons as i can with family guy.

You must have forgotten that not only capitalization, punctuation, and apostrephe's matter; but also the rule that you can never start a scentence with "But". I will let this one go; but I am upset with the fact that your only goal is to be critical (which i am trying to be less of); yet you are still failing miserabley. Come on yo'!
