Nonetheless, I enjoy Family Guy more because it has never had an episode that lacked from its strong comedic focus, and becuase it has that strong comedey.
The Simpson's can often fall short from my expectations in this department (comedey), and recently have been rather poor. It is still one of the best cartoons ever, despite its short comings as of late.
I would like to see someone try and correct that!

Family Guy is better I believe. But that's only my opinion and my opinion does not matter. Always on duty. You're wrong, it should be Family Guy is better I believe. But that's only my opinion and my opinion does not matter. You need two spaces between each sentence! Jeez!

And as much as I love Peter, I think The Simpsons has better characters,I mean, wow. And it is well known that there is a Simpsons quote for every situation.

Here is how I see it...
If you were stuck on an island would you rather have all the Simpons eps. or all of Family Guy?
I would take Simpons myself.

yeah, but on the other hand, simpsons has like 350 eps to choose from, while family guy has 50.

I would take Simpons myself. i agree...simpsons...if you cut off the last 75 episodes...would be much better..if stuck on an island...it would be much better... simpsons was great...is no longer...but the simpsons arcade game...wow!

okay okay, when you put it like that... i'd agree. but you know, i think i'd rather be obsessively quoting Family Guy until my parents would get increasingly angry rather than the simpsons. (hem hem colin carlock hem hem..)

No contest at all. Family Guy. Funnier, better references, and... just because.

I see a little of both being great. While Family Guy has all kinds of stuff you can just laugh out loud at, the Simpsons (as sixswitch put it) has a quite for every situation. So it gets my vote too. Also, as a kid I wasn't allowed to watch the Simpsons, which made it extra cool, that never happened with Family Guy, I just could never actually catch it when it was on TV. Three cheers for Adult Swim!
