Wow. Just wow.
"Get original," What the hell does that mean? Reloaded far from sucked. Very far. "all fighting and tons of bs," Where are you getting this from? Did you see the movie? If so, did you listen to the dialogue and pay attention to the conflicts?
And how would a trilogy turn into a series with endless sequels? It's a trilogy, meaning that there are three movies. Just three.
Anyways, I think this thread is supposed to be about the Matrix Revolutions, which looks quite good. I plan on seeing it Saturday.

i plan on not seeing the new one for the reasons above, i thought i was being clear, however i reread what i said and i agree i was not being clear. i believe that the new one is going to bomb in the theatres and be out on video in a week.
i saw the first one and didn't like it at all, i guess you have to like it or not, and i choose not

i dont think itll bomb, itll be one of the biggest movies of the year in my opinion. and that get original comment was just retarded. i think the storyline of the matrix is plenty original. where'd u get that the third on looks like crap? it looks sweet. though if u didnt like the first one, i see why u wouldnt like the other ones

I'll see it,I'm just not sure on how it will turn out.
I liked the first movie, and at the times I saw the second I liked it too. Then I rented it and watched it again.Wow.Total change in the way I felt about it.You really have to see every movie twice...
Every overdone, overlong action scene is followed by an the same overlong, overdone dialogue scene.
Not to mention the martial arts wasn't all that good.Way too choregraphed.
But what was really lacking...the acting?Hmmm or maybe why fight scenes are sooooooo good, they all have the fear of danger.Old man Reeves is like friggin' Superman.Come on!He can fly?My ass...
And the more I watch it the more I dislike CGI.I don't want to watch a movie only to see a huge video game on the screen.
And the video game...that just sucked.I hope nobody admits to buying that crap...
People can study Asian movies all they want, and they can try their best...but they will never be as good,no matter how much money.
Wow,I have never gone that far into a movie.Damn you Matrix, the third one better(even though I doubt it will)be sweet...
End rant.

Yeah the first one was kick-ass, no matter what anyone says. The second one had great action, but kind of faltered with how they carried out the storyline, it just seemed odd. The third one i think did get bad ratings, worse than the second. Its still gonna have cool fighting and stuff tho, so why not go see it?
I think the Matrix as a series is much more fulfilling if one takes the time to understand the background information more. I didn't until i saw the Animatrix. Its easier to comprehend the complex dialogue containing too many ergo's and visa-vi's and concordantly's. Stupid architect.
Did anyone see the MTV Move Awards opening sequence with Will Farrel as the architect! good stuff

Did anyone see the MTV Move Awards opening sequence with Will Farrel as the architect! good stuff Yeah, that parody is pretty funny. It's on the Reloaded DVD. And as far as backround, it is good to see the Animatrix before Reloaded. The kid that bothers Neo is the kid from "Kid's Story", and the Osiris story (even if it was done rather poorly by Square USA,) is helpful as backround info. As far as the Architect's dialogue, they intentionally had him say many redundant words (ergo, apropo, etc...) so that the viewer could pay attention to the many screens in the backround and still somewhat get what was being said. If you watch that scene and actually listen to just the dialogue and not look at the the visual, his explanation seems very drawn out and over-explained.

I'm pretty excited about the new one. It's too bad I already know the ending... Then again I had already figured it out through the end of the second one. So whatever...

Indeed, I at least thought it was good. I especially liked those little mecha APU thingies, that shoot those machine guns ghetto-style.

yeah, those kicked ass. They kind of reminded me of some vehicle you might find in a game like Halo or something. Holy crap, that would be a pretty sweet vehicle, like a mech body you can jump into and control. Especially with those machine guns....o damn that would be sweet.

I too saw it,but I am not sure how I feel about it.
I think it had too much action in it,but that is pretty much what a third movie is for.Andwith Jim,the story wasn't too hard to figure out either.
I know it didn't touch the first one,but I think I might have liked this more than the second,I will have to wait and rent it like I did with the second one before I am sure...
