Wow. Just wow. "Get original," What the hell does that mean? Reloaded far from sucked. Very far. "all fighting and tons of bs," Where are you getting this from? Did you see the movie? If so, did you listen to the dialogue and pay attention to the conflicts? And how would a trilogy turn into a series with endless sequels? It's a trilogy, meaning that there are three movies. Just three. Anyways, I think this thread is supposed to be about the Matrix Revolutions, which looks quite good. I plan on seeing it Saturday. hey Liek I agree with you except for the fact that they left the ending to Revolutions open to more of them if they wanted to do it. They didn't just wrap it up in a nice box.

yeah, those kicked ass. They kind of reminded me of some vehicle you might find in a game like Halo or something. Holy crap, that would be a pretty sweet vehicle, like a mech body you can jump into and control. Especially with those machine guns....o damn that would be sweet. actually these machines look very similar to Dreadnaughts from Warhammer 40k with a few differences.

i plan on not seeing the new one for the reasons above, i thought i was being clear, however i reread what i said and i agree i was not being clear. i believe that the new one is going to bomb in the theatres and be out on video in a week. i saw the first one and didn't like it at all, i guess you have to like it or not, and i choose not thats actually kind of funny that u say that because it had the most succesful weekend in movie history (yes beat out spiderman). kinda funny how u said it would bomb. idiot

did anyone notice how the movie was about choices and believing in your choices. well maybe they left the movie a little open ended for everyone to make their own asumption. but even if u don't do this its pretty simple. everyone lives in harmony after that. why how? who cares leave well enough alone. stop taking apart this brilliant trillogy just because its becoming popular. oh its got CGI oh my gosh someone stop the presses. a lot of movies now and days have CGI. your looking too much into these movies. they are all excellent. i think people were scared of the second movie becuase it was such a step up from the first one. i mean the action scenes in the second one were way more intense. i think startled people well get over it. action is action. just because its in a movie doesn't mean its a bad movie. you want to see a movie without action go see adaptation and fall asleep. this trillogy brought u story awesome acting, amazing visuals, possibly a new outlook on life. i don't know what more you want out of a movie. the only movie it closely resembles in story line is terminator in the regard of AI getting out of control, but thats were the similarities stop. Scott i don't know why your hating on these movies so much. your complaing about him flying. JESUS talk about being picky. so he flys big woop, it was expressing his ability to bend the matrix to his will, its a character personification, not some cheesy trick. and i remember you saying that the part in the animatrix were the final fantasy part was, i believe you said that was stupid and pointless. heres another example of your hating. that whole segment was there to relay the seriousness of the situation to the audience, how people were coming close together but only to be torn about by the machines which is what they were fighting to protect. you probably took it as a half naked chick jumping around and you have your anti naked mentallity kick in and it already gave you a biased view on it. all i am saying is quit being so picky. no movie is perfect but the matrix trillogy was close

and i remember you saying that the part in the animatrix were the final fantasy part was, i believe you said that was stupid and pointless. That was probably me. I guess I didn't mean to say that Square's "Final Flight of the Osiris" was terrible, I just thought that it was poorly done compared to the movies. It had too much overdone "Matrix style" action that had nothing to do with the final outcome of the film. The simulation duel between the two characters had absolutly nothing to do with anything. Sure, they were in love, but the movie was only 5 or 10 minutes long, and a love story in that short of time is nothing but half-assed. And the end result of the girl dropping the phone into the trash can at the end was bogged down with useless jumping, running, and swinging around various surrounding. I think Square over-emotionalized the short film. The rest of the Animatrix was very well done.
