if you act like a christian then you will go to heaven. No you must believe in the works of Jesus and have faith. You can't "fake" it.

You need genuine belief to go to Heaven, but then again, what about Agape Man's "Anonymous Christian"?

But still all this talk of having to live a "christian life" or being Christian seems very narrow-minded. Why must it all be based off of what Christians view as wrong or right?

Bah. Just because it's the majority doesn't mean it's right. And don't give me anything like "but that's the way it is, so deal with it" crap...

Definately, there's no way of proving that any view is right. Not yet at least.

Why must it all be based off of what Christians view as wrong or right? Because as Christians we beleive that Jesus is the truth and that he is right.

Most people tend to take what they believe as what is ultimately right.

They better think their beliefs are right, otherwise those are weak beliefs to base your life off...
Christianity, Jesus, God, Holy Spirit, Bible, Word, Natural Depravity are all Truth, absolute Truth...
i say this because i believe they are...not just for me...for everyone...if you have a belief, and you dont think that its true for everyone, thats a weak belief, how can something be truth for one person and not another?
like 1+1 = 2
i think 1+1 = 4 (hypothetical situation...)
so if your truth is 1 + 1 = 2, does that mean that my truth (1+1=4) is also right...?
no! only one can be right, and if you believ in something, you better believe its the truth, otherwise how can you believe in it?
its not narrow minded...its a firm Faith, i can change my beliefs if i find a different truth...that is the acctual truth, but i already found it...and i believe it is it...
so were not narrow minded, we just found the Truth...

There is no spiritual truth in this world... There is no religious truth to be "found" Every individual fashions his own sense of reality, everyone interprets life as they see fit. There is no "right" or "wrong" when it comes to matters of spirituality...

just because you beleive something to be true doesn't mean that i have to make other people believe it too. just because someone doesn't believe in what you think to be true doesn't mean that your wrong or that they are necassarily it just means you have two different ways of looking at things. its all opinionated william. you can't expect everyone to conform to one truth. thats what thye did in the crusades and it didn't turn out good.

yeh the best part is the "there is no right or wrong" its all about what you believe in. you shouldn't be worrying about what other people think. we shouldn't be telling other people that they are wrong, rather we should acept them for who they are not what they believe in
