I know, you're wondering why the hell am I making this thread one month early. If you must know, I'm starting to sew my costume (Sailor Jupiter...so cliche but it's easy to do). So... do you think Halloween is for little kids and if you don't, then are you dressing up and what do you plan on dressing up as?That's the general sentiment of the people I know. They give me strange looks when I donn my usual anime costume come Halloween night. I dress up for anime conventions so there's no reason I can't for Halloween. I'll be doing this until I'm too old and saggy to dress up in spandex.

Halloween is for everyone i think. Little kids can go to get candy and have fun dressing up, older kids can still go for the same reasons. I don't know about older people going just to get candy, but they can go to dress up and just have fun at parties and stuff.
I haven't gone out and dressed up in the past couple years, but i don't mind free candy. No one ever comes to my house so i just take whatever is left of the candy my mother buys, and thats a lot of candy.

I don't go out anymore on Halloween because of previous incidents that got me in BIG trouble, so I just kinda sit at home and wait until the next day where I will bum candy off all of my friends for free. I don't have to buy/waste time making a costume, I just lay around (as usual) and take it from my friends later, who 'worked' for their candy the night before. No "holiday" is gonna make me get off my ass and work all night long for candy.

I love halloween I think it's for all ages I normally go out every year with like a couple friends, but this year I'm probably just going to stay home.

Hell yeah Haloween is for eerybody! I'll be 17 ths Haloween, and I'm probably gonna go as some kind of knight, maybe Gatts. Except my sword is only 53 inches long.....
Last year I went as a sack of grapefruits (I strapped a sack of grapefruits to my chest), the year before that I was a milk carton ( I strapped a milk carton to my chest), and the year before that I was a pedestrian. It's all about the loot, and maybe scaring the shit out of kids.

I still say why go out and half-ass it by wearing fruit and cardboard on you when you can sleep or go online or have sex or whatever, and just get the candy for FREE later?
I mean sure, halloween candy is "free," but you actually gotta walk around and say stuff, so its using up more energy than just taking it from your friends.
