i just saw this movie thanks to the timmer, and it is amazing. a fantasy tale made completly of jim hensons puppets. it is so cool. see this as well.

I checked it out at the library and I'm glad I did. Don't go pay money rent it, borrow from a friend and laugh that they paid money for it.

Holy shit! I remember this one, I saw it YEARS ago! Oh hell, that movie sucked. It tried to be serious, but it used hand puppets(more or less) for characters. Whose brilliant mind concocted THAT idiocy?

it was amazing, appreciate it for what it was. nothing like that has ever been done, nor will it ever be done again. look past the poor plot and lack of action, and realize how much effort this movie took. it is puppets. no live person appears.

ha ha ha ha ha! that's good, real good. I was thinking the same thing! dude, the story was fine, but... they're frickin' puppets, man. no way can that film be taken seriously, is all.

now i found this movie, or what i saw of it, to be creepy, while also being very humorous. like, i couldn't tell if the main character was a guy or a girl.

Screw borrowing it. The movie is a classic. I was raised on that film and many others (yellow submarine, Willy Wonka, a Christmas story just to name a select few). It has been played for me since i was born i think. Superb film and wonderful. I dont know how else to describe. I believe it's a must own for the real movie lover.
