This is in response to Scott asking me to start a diffrent thread about Magic rather than replying on the Warhammer thread. Please, feel free to talk about anything magic related but try to stay on topic as our delightful webmaster Scott has requested.
I will not hide my opinion about magic. Frankly, I think it sucks. I have many reasons, but they will probably come out later when I respond to people's posts.
Please keep in mide that this is meant to discuss magic and magic only as Scott has requested.

Dude forget it. I don't even play the damn game that much. I've gotten out of all that stuff. I've got better things to do with my life like hang out with friends and go to parties and talk to people. The only stuff I still do is watch anime.

So you don't want to even register your thoughts on magic the gathering in an open forum?

Fine, I think its a good game, but that's it. I'm not gonna be like some super mega dork and argue over whether or not it's any good and talk about its positive aspects or whatever.

It is good, but they are adding too many new rules and the sets are coming out way too fast.I think it has lost some of it's "pazaz".

I would have to say may favorite colors were white and black. Shadow decks were my specialty, as well as a mean black deck that purpose was to deck the opponent and a mono white. But now, don't bother trying to run them.

Hey D and D is a good game, although I rarely have a chance to play it. Thanks for the warning but un-needed. Magic players do make me queasy. At the time I was not refering ot the small time play against your friends magic players, I was refering to the tournament players. Have you ever seen their decks? Have you ever read a magazine with decks posted in it, especially the decks used by the pros but says built by so and so...then seen it played with exactly the same cards in many other peoples decks at tournaments (I stress this point [at tournaments]). I have. Thats what I was refering to, and it does make me queasy as they aren't showing creativity, just that they can copy someone elses deck. The release of expanisions was ultimatly what turned me away, every three months roughl;y a new set comes out. These sets also bother me in that they contain copied effect cards and duplicate cards from previous sets. The rapid relaese and duplicate cards turn down collecters and players who value orginal ideas. Also the copying of rules from Yugio has also turned me off of magic in that this new card fliping rule and effect has been riped right off of Yugio. I mean no offense to you and other private magic players, the public tournament newbies (cash cows) and so-called pros bother me. I hope this has been noted and am glad to clear my previous statement up. Please forgive the general remark and I hope your decks do well in the furture.

I play Magic on and off, therefore I chose to have no opinion. I like it in moderation, but I don't wanna have to spend money on it.
