Have you all heard of that movie Radio? I haven't seen it yet, i don't know if I am going to.
But I live not a mile from T.L. Hanna (the school in the movie) and i've seen Radio at all the football games I have gone to. And well, he aint that special. Not to me at least. (just kidding)
I don't know where Paramount got the idea to do a movie on him. Also, some unfortunate news: i saw Radio last friday, and the following saturday his house burnt down. I just thought that it was kind of weird that the guy gets a big movie made of his story, and then his house burns down.
Coincidence? I think not!

as for the movie, ill probaly see it when it comes out on video. i think paramount got the idea from magizine articles (and i think a sportscenter segment i think) about radio and thought it would make a nice family movie

you mean they wanted to capitalize on the academy award's sympathy towards tards and score an oscar. They are totally cashing in on Radio. anyone who says that Cuba is a good acter has obviously not seen that love boat movie, or snow dogs,
come on....fucking Snow Dogs.
Gil is a dick bag......but so are wilshire, william, powder, and especially unknown ghost(the biggest tool on the site by far)
Mark seems ok though. also I am a dickbag also so no complaining.

That movie looks kinda bad, but I dunno. I'll check it out sometime. I just think that when people do those kinds of movies, they over-act everything, so it makes the mentally challenged look so high and important. I'm not supporting handicaped-people-bashing, but I believe that these movies are all the same and once you've seen one zero-to-hero story, you've seen them all. It just gets old. But, sometimes there are good movies, that are original and stuff, so I'll still give it a chance and check it out.
