does anyone know where to get akira on laserdisc? its supposed to be real tight with the whole first comic entirely in color. seeing as how i found a laserdisc player last month i would like to get SOME good titles for it. but i wont pay more than 20 bucks for it cause i already got the dvd and the first comic oh yeah and the dubbing for the original vhs release sucks incase anyone hasnt already said that

you people are retarded the anime of akira is so tight. the art in it is amazing. it still holds its own against newer animation done on computers even though it was all hand drawn. leonards got one of the cells from it. its takashi about the part when he almost gets hit by tetsuo

I've always wanted a laserdisc player,but I can never find one for real cheap.
You could try Todd's(outside of downtown Birmingham),I'd check if I was limited to the couch and computer.

i checked out todds and solo and thomas video in clawson but no ones got it. thomas video is the only one who has anime in the LD section and they only have crap like MD Geist, there should be a forum on md geist cause it sucks so badly. i bought the vhs for 99 cents and still thought i got ripped off

M.D. Geist has to be one of the worst anime. Another aweful one is Kai Doh Maru. That movie is so bad. The animation even sucks and that was made by I.G.(Blood, Patlabor, Ghost in the Shell)_
