I do too, and that is the reason I liked T2 the best. And did you know that Adam Jones, guitarist of Tool, did special effects for T2?
........okay, we're getting way off topic for a thread about being an anime fan.
Speaking of back on track, a couple days ago at Meijer I was slacking off instead of bagging groceries a.k.a. the Job of Satan, and I came across a VHS of Castle in the Sky, another one of Miyazaki's films, on a shelf next to Spirited Away. I never heard anything about this coming out in America.
On another side note, I had my sister watch Grave of the Fireflies, and she cried as well.

I hate it when American people call themselves Otaku. That is such crap. why does everyone hate dubs? Miyazaki said that he wants people to watch his movies in their won language so that they experience it the right way. watching anime in english is closer to what the japanese do, and it doesn't take your eyes away from the movie.Damn straight.

im definitely not diggin the "otaku" thing. hey lets all mix random japanese words that we have a small meaning of into our sentences so people think were cool or strange or strange/cool. well just to let everyone know its not cool, its retarded.
