i thought they were awesome, so i bought a live cd, live on saint patricks day or something. all their songs sound basically the same, but they aren't that bad. i only like a few songs, but then i came accross flogging molly, and liked them better. murphys are more punkish, but molly is more diverse and awesome, so in my opinion
molly > murphy

ya i got both molly and murphy i like both equally i got hte st patricks cd also it was hard to understand a lot of the lyrics but i like both either way so its all good  |

yeah, i think it would have been a blast to be at that concert, the st pattys day one. it is hard to understand, because they have that blazingly fast irish limerick quality to their vocals. molly is a lil more laid back most of the time, and when it speeds up its clearer and easier to hear. i love the whole irish thing, how just about every chorus sounds like an anthem and its easy to yell out the lyrics. id love to go to ireland just for the pubs. (no, not pubes ya lil children)
