Doesn't have to be the best for skill or speed or anything, just ones you like.A lot.
Mine,what I can think of,are:
Metallica - One(Yes all three) Radiohead-Paranoid Android Hendrix-May This Be Love Led Zeppelin-Whole Lotta Love Skynard - Freebird
I guess those would be my top five,in no real order, but I am sure there are more.
What solos do you enjoy...

Metallica - One(Yes all three) That's the first one I thought of. Although I don't listen to Metallica much anymore, any of their instrumental songs are all awesome because they are like big long guitar solos.

Yea,I don't have an ounce of respect for them, but they had some really good old stuff. Also Fade to Black by them is just amazing.

I love the Pink Floyd guitar stuff. In a lot of their songs its just guitar playing for a few minutes strait, and I like those sequences. And the beginning in "Wish You Were Here"

Stevie Ray Vaughan - Lenny (as well as every single other song he has ever played) Metallica - Master of Puppets and Welcome Home (Sanitarium) Led Zeppelin - Heartbreaker Pink Floyd - Wish You Were Here HIM - Right Here In My Arms (great backwards guitar solo stuff) Audioslave - Like A Stone (best use of a whammy pedal ever!) Rage Against the Machine - Bulls on Parade (best use of a wah pedal ever!) Chili Peppers - The Zephyr Song (simple, but good)

PINKFLOYD - ECHOES, and not the real studio version off of "meddle" but the live version of the song from "pinkfloyd: live at pompeii"

Guns n' Roses - Sweet Child O' Mine
It's just got so much heart in it.....*sniff*........
and Spaceship Landing by Lyuss, of course. You gotta go about 10 minutes into the song to hear the solo, but you'll know it's there when you hear it.
