i kind of disagree with clump on that one, even as a guitar player, i listen to the vocals, drums, bass, guitar, and anything else that's going on if there is any, both individually and collectively. Music is art, and i feel that in order to get the full effect, you must open up and experience every part of it. you don't just look at the bottom right corner of every painting, you enjoy the entire thing, all the colors, the shapes, how it all connects and becomes one thing. if you just listen to one part, you are ignoring the work of all the other members, and that breaks the original meaning and idea of it apart. thats just my opinion on music.
