Ok so I broke down and got a book.It holds 268 CDs,so I still have room for about 80 more CDs.
So far so good.Makes carrying CDs a lot easier.I just hope this one doesn't break like all my old ones...

I definitely use a book, because then i can carry all the cd's i want in one little case, as opposed to carrying around multiple cases, which is just more aggrivating.

I have seen some great cds destroyed by a book (Rage Against the Machine, for example, when I took it to Boy Scout camp). I usually carry around my cd player and 2 jewel cases in my backpack at all times, and switch them around just about every day. I don't have a cd player in my car, and in about 24 hours my car will once again belong to my parents for a while. They may be irritating but I like the jewel cases, after all the bands/producers/etc. decided how they look, why ignore that?

I've got me a 208 CD carrier (hah, carrier) and I have just about all of my CD's in there with still a little under half of the space free. It's a bloomin' miracle. Well, maybe not, but damn nice. hoo haa for cd books!

I'd say books are the way to go if you burn cds, because you don't really care as much about them as the real ones. My cousin (and Will, apparently) buy the cd and then burn it. Then they keep the old and original copy in its case, all safe and stuff, while the burned copy goes into a huge book where it doesn't matter if it gets scratched up and broken, because there is always the original copy at home. What a great idea.... now all i need is a book and a cd burner and i'll be all set.

i wish i had an i pod, i have my book, but its getting pretty full, its scotts size, and it really helps if you carry them around like your car and stuff...
i also have them all backed up on my computer in case so i can burn copies, and i have all the booklets in my cd book so i have the art work accesible for referencing...
but i pod would rock..and yeah it does damage the CD's but they can almost always be cleaned up...its only scratches on the plastic part mostly which isnt the actual written part...
