So which do you use?
I use to use a CD book,but now I just keep all my cds in cases.But taking the CDs in their cases is a pain in the 'ol behind,so I might invest in a book,but I'm not sure...

right now, im taking all of mine out of my book and putting them in their cases. for protection, plus, i never bring my cds anywhere, and i just realized that. im so stupid....  |

I have a few metal cases that I use for CD storage. Convenient and well-protected.

The whole wallet/book idea is great for convenience, but i have found that using a wallet causes the CDs to sratch easily. Not very cool at all. Therefore i have come up with a plan.
I will keep all my CDs in their hard, plastic cases at home, and burn copies of them to put in a wallet for my car and traveling purposes. Then, if taking them out of the plastic case turns our to be a pain, i can bring the wallet from my car to my room and then use that instead. You dont have to worry about scratches, because you can always make another copy.

i would...but i just got a book...and im not worried about them scratching...because i rarely have that trouble...
and my friend has a great cd scratch remover...
and i dont have time to copy them all...nor does my burner work...

I use cases mainly because I can never remember the song order on the CDs.

One time, she came over, and gave me like, a burned copy of every single one of her cd's and I'm like what the hell are you doing, and she said she did what you just said up there. That's how I got five pink floyd cd's, three radiohead cds (i dont like them that much) a bunch of rolling stones cds and a few more really shitty ones. Im happy though, she turned me on to The Floyd ;D |

haha i just keep most of mine in a book, but the ones i take with me are in cases.well one case actally...see i usually have like 5 CDs with me at all times, and i can fit them all into one CD case. if i ahve to go somewhere for a long period of time, then i take my CD book with me....

i usually put them in the book because all my cds are pretty much burned. and i have a word file with all the songs that are on the cds.so i could just burn another copy if the original one got damaged or lost.

that would be such a hassle though to burn them all...
i have like 100...that would be a major task...by the time i finish i'd have like 120 too...and then it increases like an asymptote and i never burn them all...except i would...but anyway...
the song list thing...i put the booklets behind the CD...

I just realized I have close to 200 cds,wow,that would take a long time.By the time I got done there would be a new format out.Crap.
