im gonna have to watch the shins...man i saw this one chick on conan the other day (close to new years) she was some irish violinist, it was pretty cool...it was like...ahhh can't remember her name...grrr...

Not really(that I know of),they don't sound too radio friendly,but a lot of up and coming bands have been on tv more and more lately,such as Thursday,Alkaline Trio,Ataris,and the list goes on.

i saw the Ataris on ... I think it was SNL, but it could have been The Late Show.
All I remember was I caught their last song, which was The Saddest Song. It was pretty sweet, but I missed it, that blew.

actually, i think i came in just as it started, so i didn't miss it at all. sweet, i thought it was SNL and i missed 1-2 other songs. you know how SNL goes and all. guess i should keep a calendar handy or something like that to see what day it is.....
