I must agree; pink floyd is one of the greatest bands of our time. Smoking a joint up north, and just laying in a field and looking up at the stars while listening to dark side of the moon. Most definatly a trip. Also, has any one ever tried the experiment of playing dark side of the moon while watching the wizard of oz?? now thats freaky how everything lines up perfectly!! we actually did it in math class last year. check it out members.cox.net/stegokitty/dsotr_pages/dsotr.htm

damn, i have the album, but not the cd. (the record, yo)
otherwise, i'd try it. i heard if you try it with the record you'd have to sync it up every time you have to flip it over, and thats like....four or five times. but if you have the cd, you only have to do it once. so, until i get the cd, then screw it.

Indeed, we did that in band my senior year of high school (2 years ago ... I'm so old). That was quite a trip. I own that cd plus a copy (of a bought copy of) Echoes. Both are indeed impressive musical experiences that ought to be listened to all at once, but don't necessarily have to as each song is great all on its own. As it should be.

I'm still a newbie to all this Floydness, but I only really like the Wall and Dark Side of the Moon. All the other stuff is just kind of plain and not really special, but the Wall and DSofM are great albums.

Darkside shouldn't run you more than $15 but The Wall seems to be close,if not more than,$30 everywhere new.
Try going used.

Yeah, i rarely shop new these days. used is the way to go, unless you go to the flea market like i did and got brand new sealed cds for 8 bucks and slightly used ones for 5.
