I am a huge Pink Floyd fan, and thought we could discuss it...
anyone else think that its sweet that they refer to themselves as 'the floyd'...its just funny...
so maybe we could say their favorite album is wish you were here, and the best song is good bye blue sky? agreement?

I have been listening(and watching) to more Pink as of late and likeing it more and more.
I will agree on the album, but I am not sure which song rocks more socks.

My cousin (who I'm 95% is a stoner, but I'm not possitive in the sense that I don't have any proof yet) loves Floyd, The Rolling Stones, Radiohead, and The Beatles. Recently, she burned me a copy of almost every cd that she thought was good and gave them to me. I never thought much of them until like three days ago. I popped in The Wall, and I was blown away. I was expecting Pink Floyd to be ok, but they were much better. I haven't the slightest clue what the track names are, but I like almost every one. I'm gonna go look up the song names later tonight.
In other words, I'm a Floyd n00b, w0t w0t!

as well as myself... out of the blue, my cousin bought me a floyd DaViD. it is rox0rz. ive listened to some pink floyd over the years, but only like a couple songs. then kenny turned me on to it with that one cd he played. it was cool.

i love pink floyd i want to get their dvd...they are just cool. for everyone here who likes them too, i aplaud you and all i have to say is...wow, you have a good taste in music.

If memory serves me then the title of that song is just Hey You.Simple enough eh?Good song too.

im a floyd noob of sorts. I got the Wish You Were Here cd. ITs good stuff, great guitar and all. The effects in the music are also pretty cool. Pink Floyd was pretty groundbreaking stuff when it first came out i suppose. And i love the song wish you were here...just love it.

Yeah the Floyd is awesome, but i realized their flow went from more effects to less, as they progressed...but its all amazing...and im working on my collection...which is

well the atom and the heart of mother is sweet...an early one...and it has a cover with a cow...
devision bell is thought to be one of the best five...but not best...
i still lack this...it has some weird robotic computerized tiki looking face for the cover...
wall II is disc two of the wall...what i think is better...
wall live is taken from the dvd...
and meddle is one of their first...that i really want...so im gonna get that if i find it...

Well, all of mine are burned, so i dont have any nifty covers....but they sound dandy.
I wish I liked the Floyd more, but it seems I only like thier big hits, like Hey You, Another Brick in the Wall, etc.
But no doubt, I will like them more when they sink in. I would lend you my Meddle, but you could probably just burn them, and you probably want to buy them. O well. The offer is on the table if you want, though.
