If Britney Spears made that album the law would be required to hand out medals for killing her and any of her supporters. Aren't there some kind of copywright laws about sodomizing great songs? And What about Madonna's American Pie catastrophe? I heard that in a store once and thought it was a herald of the Apocalypse. It brought tears to my eyes. Not as bad, but bad nonetheless, was Lenny Kravitz's American Woman. And MTV sucks my nuts, if you need proof of that (or just want to see something funny I suggest this: www.theromp.net/billandted.php If the link doesn't work then just type it in, and watch the video called "Will the real Bill Clinton Please Stand up?" And now that I thought of Fred Durst what about his Behind Blue Eyes? I actually had to explain to someone that that wasn't his song! What has this nation come to?!

Not as bad, but bad nonetheless, was Lenny Kravitz's American Woman. Amen, not too many people realized it at the time, but he butchered that song. He's an ok guitar player, and I don't know much about singing so I can't judge him there, but he killed that song.

It's obviously fake if you just read the article. Plus its from April 1st 2002. I like the paragraph "Spears mother and manager, Lynne Spears, concurred. "We've been leading up to this for some time now, with the skimpy outfits, the budding breasts, and the 'not that innocent' lyrics," she reveals. "Now with Britney making a political statement, we're hoping that all those 40-year-old men won't feel as guilty about masturbating over her cheesecake photos, and will be able to hold their heads high. We want them to buy this album in droves, and hope that this will keep them from feeling so much like pedophiles while doing so."
Its obviously an April's Fools joke. Some of it was actually funny (the above paragraph for instance).

i hope to god it is, i sure as heck dont want her butchering any more songs. plus, she already pulled off a publicity stunt a little while back. (two, actually)
