Ok,this list is better than other,but what the hell?White Strips?Strokes?50 Cent?METALLIC?Do they even listen to the cds?But that isn't all...Missy Elliott?Bubba Sparxxx?These guys all suck.Hard.

Mars Volta at 21,a shame,if anything they should be number one.And even if your an AFI fan,#15?Way too high up,not their best cd.

I've heard three songs off of St. Anger so far, and have hated all three of them. I think losing Jason Newstead must have hurt them more than they thought. "We're stronger than ever" my ass. I think we're witnessing the death of one of time's most prevalent rock bands. But christ, that's a bad list. I mean, Outkast?

Yea,I hope on a plane trip to Europe Metallica crashs,and burns,just like their music.Ok not really,but they do suck.

Um, what solo would that be? Unless you are refering to the fabled "one note solo" then you are mistaken my boy.

Anyways, in my opinion, you are only looking at what you know about music. This magazine was looking at total sales and total popularity. Also, in my own opinion, I think this list is pretty fair, and you are lucky to see bands you know and like on there. White Stripes were pretty damn successful, in case you didn't notice. And although you may disagree as I do, Metallica has worsened and I don't think they are making any contributions to music anymore. I think you need to look at this from the industry's point of view. I mean, come on, if you listened to Goth, or Blues, or Jazz, or anything else that isn't very mainstream, you would feel this list is unfair, too. Try to look at things outside the box, and you will see much more clearly.

I see things sparkle sparkle clear,they don't,with their heads up there ass and all.

They did put some good cds on there,I will give them that,but in all the wrong order.

White Stripes,Metallica,and 50 Cent all suck.The Strokes,hell they suck too.These bands are all up top.All of the good bands,Mars Volta,Thursday,Brand New,they are all way back on the list,where they shouldn't be.

Damn list.

actually some of the stuff on that list is pretty good.....like ted leo, postal service, radiohead, new pronographers, electric six is ok I guess, Mars Volta is awesome....but they are forgetting some great ones....they should replace 50 cent with some decent rap, like maybe the arsonists, or just...anything else...

and whats this abotu missy elliot and jay-z.....ahem...I think Spoon and The Decemberists are more worthy of a spot than them.

whoever said "did they even listen to the albums" .....no I dont think they did....either that, or they didnt listen to enough other good ones.
