and reliant k does REALLY suck. I saw someone wearing one of their shirts, and he got so harassed by this group of kids that he ran away crying.

well, i think people refer to the whole grungy punk, like Nirvana and the Sex Pistols or like The Clash or something. Since those bands aren't what they used to be, I guess punk is "dead" to many people. I think punk is evolving into half crap and half mediocre stuff. You got your emo over here, and a little metal stuff over there. Punk ain't what it used to be. Then, there is the good ol punk rock which is always just as good as taking your daily vitamins. ;D

umm...nirvana was grunge...much mellower, far from punk...in my eyes...plus...just cuz it isnt made doesnt mean it isnt big...the 'punk' scene is booming...(with out a me...)

yeah, i dont see how people can say punk is dead, because it is actually thriving, so it is kind of ignorant to say something that isn't close to being true. That's like me saying speed metal is dead. Just because I don't like it, doesn't mean it doesn't exist anymore. Therefor, speed metal is not dead. (Nor is punk)
