Has anyone heard of that new band called Rooney? They remind me of the Strokes and maybe a little bit of Hot Hot Heat in there, but mostly Strokes and Vines, stuff like that, but its got a faster beat, and that song I'm Shakin is godamn catchy man. Check them out now

Yea theyare pretty good.I am not sure if I would go as far as saying great,but I do need to hear more from them.
Isaw their cd for $8 used,I think I will pick it up and then judge it.

Yeah, I downloaded a couple of songs by them the other night. They aren't you know, Green Day or CKY quality, but they are definetly good to listen to. Not really a classic, more of an up-and-coming band.

yes yes I've heard of them, and heard them....they are decent, nothing to shoot myself over though. they have an interesting sound to them, sorta like weezer...I got their CD a few weeks ago..its alright..

actually I am going to start a thread soon about what I call when I experience...or my ears rather, some good music. I call it "sending"....it may sound creepy but hey anything you don't understand can. This one song I am hearing right now is sending me to the "zone"....Sleater Kinny - "Oh"...so what sends you, guy?
