It's all pretty diverse right now, so I will try to keep them in categories:
Metal-ish heavier stuff CKY Metallica -New and Old- Audioslave System of a Down -Only some of it-
That Nu-Metal stuff Linkin Park
Punkish stuff Sum 41 -New or Old, I don't care- The Offspring Nirvana Ataris -Old-
Emo-ish/soft punk stuff Ataris -New- Green Day Boxcar Racer Chili Peppers

The songs that I listen to are soft-rock-punk-emo-whatever. Todays music cant be classified under one category, thats why i just threw them in roughly. When I'm listening to Chili Peppers, I'm also in the mood for New Ataris, Green Day, and Boxcar Racer, so thats why i put them all together.

For ass's sake scott, you call that rock? just cuz its got guitars and drums, it shouldnt mean its rock. TLC and Avril Lavigne have guitars in their music, would you call them rock? Well, i guess you can't really call Avril Lavigne anything except crap. but i agree with shinakuma, so much good stuff if you look back in time. Led Zeppelin, old metallica, black sabbath, ACDC, guns n' roses, the list goes on. but not stuff like twisted sister and the beegees. please god, make the nightmares stop.

Tool, Black Sabbath, Metallica(before st. anger, i was disappointed), A Perfect Circle, Smashing Pumpkins, Soundgarden, Rage Against the Machine, Nirvana, Jimi Hendrix, the old Korn, Rammstein, Guns n' Roses, Kyuss, more Kyuss, and Tool, Tool, TOOL. It really can't get any better.
And no, no Sum 41, you frickin' hethens.
