There have been many theories circulating over the net on how to revive Aeris in FFVII, has anyone found a real one? It's possibly the greatest mytery in all of gaming history, and I'm just curious. Here's one I found: www.geocities.com/corrina_obrien16/reviveaeris.html

I tried a Gameshark code that erased my 100+ hour game...son of a...
I have read many times over the years that she could not be brought back, but then again it took a few years for someone to find the secret in Adventure for Atari...I guess there is hope.
Someone should try that out...

Nobody found the secret room in a Link to the Past until someone hacked the ROM. New Sequence Breaks and speed tricks are found for the Metroid series every day. People find new secrets all the time, so it could be possible that Aeris can be brought back... I never played through FFVII, so I don't know much about it. I do know that there are people that have dedicated thier lives to finding her, and other secrets in other games. Much like this guy: planetquake.com/sda/mp/ . So I'll tell you what I told another fellow on another board: keep looking. Whoever finds things first becomes well known and respeceted. Just don't waste your life away trying to do something...

Well known and respected ... maybe. I don't know if I would use those words. I'm as addicted to video games as the next single male college student who doesn't drink, but I don't try and find sequence breaks and hack ROMs and stuff. And I would not say I have any respect for those who do. In fact I feel sad for them. But at the same time it's nice to know that half a dozen video games out there got the attention that each and every one deserves. Fill up your free time if you're too afraid to talk to other people like me, but don't expect respect for your grand achievements.

I should have said "well known and respected among people into that sort of thing." Yeah...
