Here's a hint, Chaun. His screen name is identical to the first four letters of his last name.
I don't think having more than 2 Xboxes in one building is a good idea. That much weight would probably break the amount of weight any building could withstand.
I'm joking. Anyways, I don't have an Xbox, so no LAN for me.
Someone will probably move this to the right forum pretty soon...

This is just as the Chaun suspected, but the Chaun couldn't remeber whethere or not the KOVA was followed by a -ch or a -k or a -ck.
And hey, what are you telling the Chaun? That 16 person HALO doesn't sound sweet?

You do like HALO, though don't you, Paul? I consider it good, but not great. Mostly just over-rated, as it's single player was flawed with mind-numbing repitition, poor AI, and a cliched, ripped off story from various sci-fi books and movies. But the multiplayer offers a much better experience. If it had computer controlled bots, it would be near perfect multiplayer. I'd give it either an 8 or 8.5 (out of ten.) We're pretty far off topic here... oh well. And a future note, my name is Paul. |

to me, an xbox LAN party sounds like a waste of good ethernet cable, Halo is great fun and all, but if your gonna take the time to set up that sort of network, have a real LAN party.
actually I take that Halo comment back, I agree with Paul, Halo is overrated and in no way "evolved" especially since the gameplay was quite similar to that of C&C: Renegade, except a year later. Not to mention, UT2003 and rogue spear w/ NATO offer better gameplay then Halo could ever dream of replicating.

If you wanta set up x-box on a lan network, you need a few things, first, you need a router, and second, you need some ethernet cables. Now, there is a small "router" you can buy, like at best buy or some where, its only good for connecting 2 x-boxes, and it comes with 2 ethernet cables. Its only like 10-15 bucks so not a bad deal. But if you wanta get more than 2, you need to get a 4 port router and ethernet cords, 1 for each box. Hope that helps

HEres the Deal:
Ive got an 8 port switch with plent to Cat5 cable, so im all set in terms of setting everything up all i need are at least 3 Xbox and 3 people with Counter Srtike. Thats it! SO lets get goin dammnit, this shit is going down after or right before Xmas. preferably during Xmas break.! So bust out and lests play some COUTER STIKE.... 6 vs 6 PLUS bots....! OOOO YEAH! -- Contant me if ur interested
