XBOX is awesome. Other gaming consoles are good, and they have DIFFERENT game than XBOX. But XBOX has the greatest capability for speed and graphics and memory etc..., that point can't be argued. But what it comes down to, and rightly so, are the games. Graphics and power don't make or break a system completely. Games do, thats why thy're called "gaming" consoles. PS2 has some great games, so does Gamecube, and so does XBOX. XBOX has better original ideas than other systems, and puts them into action better because of its greater capabilities.
But I have XBOX, no other new consoles. And I like the games I have for it very much. And so I like XBOX. And yes I believe its the best out there.

Actually, on the subject of capabilities, each system excels in its own style. The Xbox, while having the highest technical aspects, does not always apply them as well as the GC or PS2. While the Xbox does statistically have advantages, the GC has more RAM than the Xbox. Such small comparisons mean nothing, really. Each system is so close in capabilities that it is up to the developer's of each game to make the system perform. Some PS2 games have better graphics than a given Xbox game, for example. Pointing out one game would really just be isolating a small example.
So it really comes down to the games. Every system has had a run of a couple years, and all have substantial libraries. The Xbox has its good games (Panzer Dragoon, Halo), but, as far as I care, falls short of the PS2 or GC.
