rpgs are the best in my opinion, theyre just plain fun. i like fps i guess, but i dont play them enough to really have fun with them.

fighting games are my favorite. i never get sick of them. i like them because they are virtualy the only games were u can progress in skill and know how. i will take on any challenger for cap vs. snk 2. you just name the place and time.

Wow what a crappy poll.Way to go leaving out Action and Adventure,two of the most popular types of games out there.
But from this half-assed quiz I would go with RPGs.

Um, FPS isn't a genre. It falls under the "Action" genre. First Person is a perspective, not a genre. It's like calling Communism a Government or Taoism a religion.
And since Action and Action/Adventure aren't available, the two most used genres, this poll is flawed.

ok i think you all need to back off a bit here. your just being jerks to him. so what if u don't agree with his poll then don't take part in it. don't beat him up just because he messed up or views genres differently. and some magazines do consider FPS a genre

Yea some do,but it doesn't make it right or true.
I see shooter as a genre and first person as the way it is played,but whatever.
