Okay, Super Mario is the greatest thing that happened to the video gaming world. Do you guys appreciate the advance versions of the old game. Personally I love retro games revived....

well for one i don't think its the greatest thing to happen to video games. and i bought mario advanced and i must not have played the original in about 5 or 6 years and i'm telling u it felt like i had just played the game yesturday. it was kinda redundant

Yes I think Mario is one ofthe greatest things to happen to video games. If it wasn't for Mario or the NES we might not have video games as we know them today. So thank you Nintendo.
Andyes Mario advance is cool.I have it,but I still play the original on NES more often, but it is a cool idea. And you can play it on the go.
I too will second the fact that retro games redone/remade are cool.

i like to stick with the motto out with the old in with the new. i don't like the idea of playing the same 10 games my entire life. maybe its just me but i like variety

Well the idea of putting out old games on new systems is a good idea, many younger people have not played the classics that spawned the new games. They let more people reach out and play the classics that they missed.Plus the ones on GBA let you play them on the go.

i think the only time i ever felt that sentimentality with an old game or system was when i played ninja gaiden and shinobi 2 on the game gear a few months ago, i don't recall any tears but i could remember a miny silent demon shmashing those a and b buttons untill the evil end boss who took forever to beat was dead. man those were the days.
