VIII is the greatest hands down
then maybe VII
then IV
then tactics is good
X is okay
IX sucks badly

i have never played a ff game. ever. i think once i held a gameboy while tactics was in. but i didnt play.

ok the classics are great and FFT is something I could waste away hours on, but the game I love so far is X-2. They did an amazing job on this, non-linear story, 3 possible endings (haven't finished the game yet so haven't seen any), frantic battles, oh and the best part? the scantily clad women, ohh ya!

IX is terrible just cus the game progresses slowly and the storyline isnt up to par with other final fantasies
its still better than most rpgs but well you know
