Oh yeah, if you want to read about the multiverse try The Fabric of Reality by David Deutsch or The Universe in a Nutshell by Steven Hawkings. im sure theyre not easy reads, but they are probably really interesting. Another good book about the many-worlds interpretation of quantum physics (and quantum physics in general) would be "Schrodinger's Kittens" by John Gribbin

its a fantasy novel, personally i think the books could be really interesting. just to give us new perspective of things. if u dont like that kinda thing thats fine, but it wouldnt hurt to give it a chance

no it would definitely hurt to give it a chance. it would be like if you took a screwdriver and drove it through your eye. you get an experience, but its a piece of shit and now your blind in one eye and youd rather have read something decent like faulkner or played DC.

"open to growth" obviously ur not, but thats ok. i dont think reading a book could be comparred to driving a screw driver through ur eye no matter how bad it is, and again ud need to give it chance before judging

go tell in on the mountain....if i had read the whole thing then it would be like sticking a screwdriver in my head. but since i only read the begining, it was more like repeatedly smashing ur hand in a car door, and i can intelligently make that comment because i at least tried it. as for the scarlet pimpernel, i thought it was pretty good

I believe Gil's favored book is Marching Through Peachtree. Enjoy.

yeah kinda weird to think of someone being King of America. but some people figured washington would become king, luckily he stepped down. so, maybe in a parallel universe he didnt, and thus establishing a monarchy here

no. you know what? no. stop it. stop trying to defend "alternate history". thats crap. i am blown away by the sheer stupidity of the ideas behind these books. even if there is an alternate universe, im absolutely positive that harry turtledove was murdered in every single one so that he wouldnt make those shit books.

if you're talking aobut parallel universes and you dont mention CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS, then you're a fool. now that was quality stuff, man. wolfman and perez are the closest things to geniuses in the comic biz
