I think a giant rocket from outer space will create a diversion, therefore no one will win and everyone will go home happy.

The old poll is locked, and should have been from the start. This shall be the new offical Superbowl thread. And yes, damnit grapes. I can live with that. I'd really like to see the Panthers win this thing... the Pats don't impress me, but their AFC power is overwhelming. But the Panthers are pretty sweet.

how can the Pats not impress you? 2 super bowl showings in 3 years?? they didnt even make the playoffs last year and now they go to the super bowl. they went on a 14 game win streak. thats pretty fricken amazing. 9-0 at home(now 10-0)? wow thats unheard of. brady went 9 home games without throwing one interceptions? that was 330 pass attempts at home. and he went 319 pass attempts without a interception including away games. most of the season they had to deal with many of their starters hurt. They lost Lawyer Milloy because of the salary cap. and he is one of the best strong safetys in the nfl. only reason panthers won was because mcnabb got hurt on a late hit. and he was playing with broken ribs. panthers did nothing special. when their offense plays the Pats defense they will be torn apart. the eagles pass rush, run defense, and pass coverage is nothing compared to the Pats defense. The pats offense will tear apart the panthers defense. the Colts secondary is a lot better than the panthers secondary and Brady tore apart the colts secondary.and anyways Peyton Manning is a better QB than Delhomme. Delhomme wont last against the pass rush and coverage. so yea goodbye panthers. GO PATRIOTS!

Yeah, I didn't read that. What I should have said is that I'm sick of the AFC's dominance. The Pats are good every year, it's getting old with me. At least the NFC has different things every year. I'm no football analist, so everything I say here is just my opinion. Shooting down other's opinions accomplishes nothing.

i think the pats are just to much for the panthers...of course a few years ago, everyone thought that the rams were gonna be too much for the pats...shows what we know.
i hope its a close game.

the pats have one of the best defenses in the league. if there front four can get penetration and disrupt the running game of Stephen Davis and Deshaun Foster than the panthers will have to rely on jake delohmme and there passing attack. Although delohmme has been efficiant this year, whenever the panthers cant run, they lose. And dont forget about tom brady and the pats offence, they can move the ball pretty well. im goin with the patriots 31-13
