Ok...I have been at the site for almost a week...i think...i donno...it's so great i could stay here forever...anyway...I've been here for a while and yet I haven't gotten any welcome and it makes me sad...not really...but still...it's not cool...I might not refer any of my friends here anymore...  |

Dude, chill. I had the same 'problem'. It's nothing personal, but sometimes lots of people join the boards in one day, and people go unnoticed. Happened to me. Anyway, I know one of the mods and asked him the same thing... Turns out that some of the time, people start their own welcome thread. By all means, invite your friends. If no-one else, you could give them a warm welcome...  |

You joined during a pretty chaotic time. There were lots of crazy things going on. So, some things go un-noticed.

Chill. We really stopped making introduction threads as many people have joined but never posted. Now it's sort of a self-intro thing. It's a waste if the person doesn't post. But thank you for posting and welcome.

Watcha talkin' about, Ravensburg? whose welcome is impolite? If you're talking about Sarien's post (the most logical assumption as she posted last before you) I see nothing wrong. Sarien's only saying that people have joined but posted not. waste. and even more waste to welcome them, the losers. People like you and me, WE post, so we both have welcome threads. It makes sense. I started my own thread too, as stated above, and the fact that I've seen something like twenty people join since me, only a minor fraction post. even less are nice about it. Sarien's not being rude, she's being practical. If you're not talking about Sarien, then you should quote the person you are, or at least mention his/her name. even then, NO post here is rude...

Pretty much. A lot of welcome threads have been made in the past, yet the welcomee never posted a damn thing. I think we should change the summary to "introduce yourself" or something.
