yes the kiss was pretty sweet, even if it was just a stupid publicity stunt. but it in no way gives me any respect for mtv. the network sucks. they need to change their name because almost nothing on it is actually music.

I wonder if people that watch MTV even like music...
Only good shows I have ever seen on MTV:
I have seen Thursday,Thrice,Ataris and Flaming Lips live on it,and that is about it.Oh and Jackass and Viva La Bam.

I never watch MTV, and rarely watch TV itself. I used to be hooked on MTV2, but now all it has turned into is overplayed rap.
Also, I hate how the MTV network is trying to be "hip" and looking for underground bands. I'm sorry, but Simple Plan and Avril are not punk, nor underground. Plus they suck. They were processed to be pop and turned pop the moment they were on the market.
The current music industry makes me sad.
