dude, lighten up. if you are a bush supporter or not, it is a funny joke. i am sadly, a bush supporter, and I don't take nearly as much offense to this as you are. It was not a personal attack or even a political attack. It was a joke. Maybe not the best joke ever, but it was a joke. A pun. Settle down.

I think it's rather clever. And you think it's sick to think about babies being destroyed by drilling, try to think about all the animals that will die because of oil drilling....now that's a far more disturbing thought.....

So to you having animals alive is more important than having gas to drive a car and oil and stuff? These are animals that you'll never see and animals that don't exactly do much for stuff in general. If they die it doesn't mean that you'll be effected by it, its not like their spirits are gonna come and haunt you and there isn't gonna be some sort of shift in the universe. I think that having oil is much more important because society wouldn't be able to function without the damn stuff. There are plenty of animals left for you to see and a lot of trees for you left to hug. |

it was a joke, funny.......ha ha ha. But it was never about the oil. I said one time when the whole thing about Bush and Iraq was going on was "It is about the oil, oil flowing freely at international market prices."
Bush doesn't want just the oil. He wants the middle east fixed with the best interests of the US in mind. Anyone opposing this, or deliberately trying to get us to lose the war so they can say "see Bush isn't a good president" shouldn't call themselves American's. (thats my opinion) Yes oil is a good thing to have, but Bush would never take over third world countries for their oil, all of us know that. But we would take over, set up a autonomous democracy, and allow them to sell us oil at prices that benefit them and kickstart their economy. Thats one goal Bush has in mind.
