That movie was freaking awesome. But I'll never go back to that theater again (Star Southfield.) Let's just say the problem was... loud minorities (Jim, Mark, and Derek know what I mean...)
Anyways, best movie ever. I will be seeing it again at a very early showtime at the Great Lakes Crossing Star Theater very soon.

Best movie ever...or at least best movie in any series. I cried...I'm very sensitive. It's sad that it's over. I didn't mind the Matrix ending, but LOTR was a hell of a lot better. I'm going to see it for the third time later this week! Oh, and from the previews, Viggo is going to be in a new movie. ^__^

if you dont know the ending, you may not wanna read this...
man I saw it last night, and I must say, it was pretty freaking good. it was a little on teh long side, but it was still cool. I liked the ending it was happy, I thought it would be sad.
also, the part where they are all jumping on the bed to see frodo was a little...ermm...well I am jsut happy it wasnt what I thought it looked like. but the movie was pretty good, and that part made me laugh...
what I dont get is the very ending....why did he have to leave?

Yeah that movie was long (not that it was a bad thing with ROTK). Just when I thought it was over, there was that bed scene...kind of queer. I always thought that Merry and Pip were anyway. ::Spoiler Warning::Frodo was the original one to leave the shire you can say. Like Bilbo, he wanted to go somewhere, have an adventure (at least I think so). Sam followed out of friendship and duty, Pip and Merry...I don't know. ^__^; But at the end, when everything was done and over with Frodo realized that he could never pick up where he left off in the Shire. His experience with the ring changed him, more then the other hobbits, physically and emotionally. That's the best explanation I can give.

thanks for the warning--as for ROTK being long, its for the better. it means less stuff cut out and more action

well, i've seen it 2x. i saw it thursday and i saw it today, sunday. both times it was awesome. although the second time, we went a little to late and were stuck on the 3 farthest left seats of the 2nd row, which kinda sucked, but it was ok. the movie is awesome, spectacular.
legolas is a gangsta.
