Here is the low down:
Christian Bale has been selected to be the new Batman.
Michael Caine has been chosen to be the new Alfred.
Darren Aronofsky, Director of Pi, and Requiem for a Dream is set to direct the movie.
Filming starts in Feb. of 2004.
Should be out sometime in 2005.Looks to be darker,and I hope it won't suck like Forever did...

ah, batman movies....where did they go wrong? i mean, they started out sweet, then slowly descended to crapitude. sigh. this one should be sweet, though. if it is, i can only pray that DC makes movies for its other, greatly cooler comic heroes...

*crosses fingers* Please don't let it be crap....please. But I've seen Requiem for a Dream. The movie's kick ass and pretty trippy (about drug addictions). If this movie is good...I'll...buy DC comics!

ah, batman movies....where did they go wrong? i mean, they started out sweet... yeah, but only if you think "Holy Gargonzola, Batman!" and what amounted to 20th century codpieces were sweet. EDIT: oopsie, pic won't work |

i hope this new batman movie will be good.because i like batman.he is the best hero ever!!!haha.he doesnt need stupid super powers to defeat his enemies.just fancy boomerangs and a special utility belt with sweet gadgets on it.but he still kicks ass!

i was scared when i watched the first batman oh so many long years ago. I've seen the others but they are too weird. I was never itno that comic book universe so they never appealed to me.
Maybe the new one will be better.

there is one old batman movie where he uses "Anti-Shark Spray" to fend off an attacking fake rubber killer shark. I wonder, how does that work under water?

the worst sidekick ever is totally speedy, green arrow's sidekick, because he was a total poser off of robin! i mean, being robin is bad, but copying him is just shameful

I've never even heard of him, but if he's a poser off of robin, that makes him suck even more. Oh, and to answer the question about where batman when wrong, i thought it was when they introduced jim carry as a villan in forever

He was a terrible Mr. Freeze. Jim Carrey was a better Riddler than The Governator was Mr. Freeze. Maybe they forgot that tiny little fact that Victor Freize(sp?) was not a large, musclebound walking tank with an Austrian accent thicker than molasses. Batman rocks.
