As we all know, ghetto slang can at sometimes (in fact most of the time) be quite funny to hear. So you people come up with some of your favorite ghetto phrases.
Mine: "Fo shizzle my nizzle" by snoop dawg i belive (or maybe every black guy around)

-__- don't stereotype. Not all black people talk like that. It's just Snoop's gumpy ass making a bad image for the rest of us. The title should be changed to "Yo. dis be the place to be ghetto."
Yes, there is a rhyme and reason to ebonics....
Use 'be' after me, you, she, etc. i.e. "I be finnin ta leave in a cool minute." When words are to long, shorten them. i.e. "We bouta roll up to the mall." Homie is rarely used to refer to your buddies. Instead use, "dawg", "nigga" (<--don't recommend that if you aren't black. I don't think it should be used period), "boy."
That just sucked the fun out of the thread, didn't it? Eh, get used to. Sarien=Grammar Whore, remember?

Yes let's sterotype!FUN!
I don't think this needs to be closed...as long as you truly don't think every African American talks like this.
But my fav 'slang' is:
'wallet to the izzo' 'word'

Nah dis isn't stereotypin dawg. Not all my niggs be talkin like dis here.
One thing i don't get is: if nigger is such an offensive word, then why do rappers use it commonly in their music. If they can say it, we can say it. Plus, racism works both ways.
But anyways, peace out homeslice-s.

One thing i don't get is: if nigger is such an offensive word, then why do rappers use it commonly in their music. If they can say it, we can say it. Plus, racism works both ways. Okay, here's the way some of my friends see it.. black people say it to black people cuz they're black.. they have that common thread. If they say it to each other, then depending on the tone, it's okay. But if a non-blackie says it, it brings them/us back to slavery and the "masa" and all that. Plus it's like when you call yourself ugly one day and your friend goes "you're ugly", it's just a joke. but if someone who you're not cool with says you're ugly, then it's offensive. hope i helped clear some of it up. Remember rule numbers 1 and 2. When in doubt, don't say it at all. and NIGGER and NIGGA are two different words. One will get you beat and one you use with friends. Hope i blackified you enough. bye
