I dance to irish drinking music, and old blue oyster albums.
if dancing means acting exuberantly happy and moving constantly and tripping over the objects in your way in a rhythymic pattern ......

Holt Shit you guy no nothing about dance music.
When you want to dance go with the old Usher. Or even if you want to go old school go with the temptations or Marven Gay.
Sometimes even DMX has a good slo song or two that you could dance to.
I can dance to anything, but perfer slow songs and go with the clasics. they will never let you down.
They also get the girls in the mood if you know what I mean..

I don't go to parties...and I don't like to dance.
But I would imagine techno would be good dancing music.

At dances and the like, I dance to music that I would never listen to in a million years if I was by myself. I know that if I want to have fun, I've got to make due with what I've been given. I know many people may have issues with them, but I think school dances are wonderful.
And yes, "Brown-Eyed Girl," "The Time Warp," and "American Pie" are definitely the best dancing songs in the history of the universe.

I still say that the best music to dace to is Usher or the oldies but goodies(Temptations, Marven Gay, etc.)
even if you don't know how to dance this music will still make you get up and move. It is some powerful shit.
