ok you guys, its the moment you've been waiting for. Its an explanation of exactly waht I mean when I say "sends me to the zone"
alright...every now and then you hear a song, and it is just amazing. Very rarely does an amazing song actually touch you in a way that you would jump off of a building in happiness because of the song--this is sending. its a song you can relate to musically, and gives you a sending feeling. You are going to a better place. Hence why I say it "sends to the zone"....now to get this straight, the zone is like....well if any of you have seen happy gilmore, his happy place. it sends you to your happy place, your zone. Wipes away all your worries and makes you truly happy. This is sending. now for an example, a few songs that send me ar:
Ghetto Boys - "Damn It Feels Good To Be a Gangsta"
Flaming Lips - "Yoshimi Battles the Pink Robots pt. 1"
Abandoned Pools - "Bloood "
Flickerstick - "Beautiful"
there are others bu tthese are a few....

i agree with the flaming lips, yoshimi battles the pink robots...i also enjoy rolling stones, miss you...check that one out...very smoothe song...

I think I know what you mean....like a song that really sucks or nobody else likes, but when you listen to it, it still sucks but at the same time is like your most favorite song ever, but only for that moment. Kinda cool...i guess....if you understand it all...

yeh, just a song that send you to your "happy place"....like if you were to die you wouldn't care cause you're so absorbed in the song...jsut a song, that measns a great deal to you....a insanely good song to you. This isnt jsut a song you really like....its more.
....by the by, a song that sends me now is "Pilot" by Notwist. It officially sent me today... (hahah I'm a nerd)

Yeah, I kinda know what you mean. I guess the closest thing I can think of is Simple Plan. I hate them. I hate their lyrics and whole boy band/punk thing going on, but for some reason when I listen to their CD, the music sweeps me away, and I end up listening to the entire CD. I hate them so much and I don't know why I do it or how, but it happens. It makes me feel so much better when I'm done, but I'm still pissed that I listened to them. I don't understand it... Don't make fun of me for listening to them because it's not something I'm proud of.  |

ok, whatever guys. Like I said I hate them as a band and what they stand for, but I still listen to them. Its weird, because you would never think of listening to your worst enemy when you need help. Its confusing as hell but trust me, I hate Simple Plan. Screw you if you think i like them.
