i myself, am quite fond of the music in the old megaman games, as well as the orchestrated music in MGS2 and the music for zelda is always sweet.

yeh orchastrated music is always a plus in video games it adds a sort of epic atmosphere to it. if i remember correctly the music they played while those marines or whoever they were, were shooting at that lady who couldn't be shot or stabbed and all that, like the grendade they threw was a dud. the music in that part was pretty cool

i haven't heard anything about the "chanting monks" in Halo! I liked that Halo music...kind of.

Anyone have any favorite game music composers? Most will say Nobuo Uematsu, composer for the Final Fantasy series, but my favorite is another Squaresoft composer. Yasunori Mitsuda, who composed the music for the Chrono Trigger series.
