Where have you people been? This game was announced in early 2002, when Game Designers Studio (a small group at Square that made a few games beforehand) decided that they didn't like being confined to Sony and came to work for Nintendo. They also wored on last year's Final Fantasy Tactics Advance. Crystal Chronicals will be released February 9th, 2004, the same day as Metroid Zero Mission. Anyways, this game looks excellent. "S-bomb?" I'm not sure what that means, but if it refers to poop, I doubt it. This is an action-oriented Role-playing game. It can be played alone with a standard GC controller, or with 1-3 friends using GBAs and GBA-GC link cables. Don't have a GBA? Too bad, you are alone. Have a GBA, but no cable? Pre-order and you get one free. I don't know too much about the gameplay, other than the action oriented style. It will probably play like PSO (Phantasy Star Online, for all of you who aren't big on shorthand.) In Crystal Chronicals, one player is responsible to carry the mana bucket, which sends out a protective field, to protect from the game's poison environment. Within this field, players can fight monsters and whatnot. In a single player game, an NPC (non-player character) Moogle will carry the bucket. You should pre-order it anyway. You can get the free connector, then just cancel the preorder after a little while or just let it expire. Like that fat bastard politcian once said, "Ten dollars saved is ten dollars earned."

GI gave it a 7,but what they say means nothing to me.I am not sure if I'll buy it yet,but it looks fun,if you can get a good amount of people to play at once.
I am keeping an open mind about it.

It should be kinda good. It's Final Fantasy. They couldn't screw it up too bad. The penny-arcade comics r0x0r also.

Personally i think that FF: Crystal Chronicles won't be good...maybe another FF IX or some thing like that...i just think that they could have done better with it...oh well we shall see soon.

dude i love final fantasy SOOOOOOOOOOSOSOSOSO much. I love the new (yet old) battle engine in X-2 (if you are somewhat oldschool it is from FFX11) is damn cool
